A “Doverite” native, I have always been involved learning some form of craft. I started at a young age doodling and then coloring in the picture I would find in the abstract doodles. In the early teens I progressed to piano, chorus, band and of course the popular medium, paint by numbers. Throughout the years I have taught myself to knit, crochet, needlepoint, cross-stitch left handed.
For several years 1984-96, I successfully sold my dried flower wreaths and arrangements at eight consignment Shops between Cape Neddick, Me to Hampton Falls NH and attended craft fairs throughout the local area.
I received an Associate Degree in Accounting from McIntosh College in 1978, a Bachelor in Professional Studies, Cum Laude: Major: Behavioral Science from CLL/Granite State College In 1995. I have been employed for 14 years At UNH presently within University Operations as a Senior Business Service Assistant.
While displaying at craft fairs and shops I was continuously drawn to the watercolor medium. In 1995 I started my watercolor adventure with Trish Friedman in Dover until she moved to NY State.
