I am a Mixed Media Fiber Artist expressing my love for color and nature by creating contemporary landscapes which combine newly learned watercolor techniques, my education in painting, and my skills as a quilter, in order  to create hand painted fabrics which are stitched  into landscapes, embellished with mixed media collage,  and embroidery to create the mood and elegance of the surrounding Seacoast Area.

I am a resident of Kittery, Maine, for the past 12 years, having relocated from the Southern New Jersey / Pennsylvania Area, where my oil and acrylic paintings, and Art Quilts were exhibited throughout the Delaware Valley area over a span of 30 years.

I have a BFA from Rowan University with a concentration in Painting and Drawing, and a minor in Art History.

Locally, I have exhibited my Fiber Art in a one man show: Art Quilt Odyssey, at York Public Library, and my Work has been seen several times with the Seacoast Area Fiber Artists in Portsmouth Library, in addition to the Barn Gallery Regional Juried Shows, during the summers in Ogunquit, Me. I am an exhibiting member of the Seacoast Art Association, The New Hampshire Art Association, and The Kittery Art Association,and a member of Pat Hardy’s Gypsy Watercolor Group.

I enjoy and love working on my Fiber Art Paintings and Water Color Studies, and am open to learning a never ending list of new techniques and ideas from Art Classes, Workshops, and especially, Workshops with SAA’s watercolor artist Doris Rice and her exciting trips, visiting new places in Europe, Canada, and the USA.
