Art from Our Seacoast High School Teachers

Venice Views (watercolor) by Laurel Larivee (Winnacunnet High School)

The SAA Scholarship Committee is proud to present our first exhibit featuring art teachers from our participating high schools!  This is a thank you to our talented teachers who work so hard to educate our students and recommend them for the SAA annual scholarships.  The show will be at the Weston Gallery at the Lane Memorial Library in Hampton, October 3 through October 30. These teachers rarely get the opportunity to show that they are artists in their own right!  So far, we have teachers from Epping, Exeter, Portsmouth, Sanborn, Spaulding and Winnacunnet. There will be both 2D and 3D pieces.

The reception will be held on Tuesday, October 8 from 6-7PM.  The event is free, but we would love any donations to the scholarship fund. Please come to the reception and tell your friends—including young people!  We are expecting a whole new group of talented students who will be preparing to head off to continue their studies in art next fall, and we can only do that with your generous donations.

The library is open Mon-Thurs 9-8 and Fri-Sat 9-5.  When visiting, please check the website to be sure the gallery is not in use.  http://www.hampton.lib.nh.us/calendar  or call 603-926-3368.
