Denise is a watercolor/acrylic painter and a seacoast native. She graduated from the University of New Hampshire with a self-designed major in art and advertising, studying fine art drawing, painting, sculpting, photography, architectural rendering and business. Denise has studied and painted with many well-known New England and national watercolor painters.

Landscapes, animals and architecture are her favorite subjects, painting on location — en plein air, capturing a sense of place and color, plus commissioned house and pet portraits.

Denise is an author and illustrator of children’s books and also published “Denise Brown, NH Artist” book that features her artwork and motivational tips for artists and collectors.

Denise is an art judge for the Hampton Beach Sand Sculpture Classic, does demos at events and is a juried member of NH Art Association.
