The Seacoast Artist Association is thrilled to have relocated to 130 Water Street in Exeter, and full of gratitude for the outpouring of support from our members and community members allowing this to become a reality. Thank you!
The Grand Opening Celebration was a well-attended event held Saturday April 9th where everyone enjoyed a visual treat of the new works on display, a chance to meet the artists, and light refreshments. One lucky patron won the raffle prize – a beautiful monotype triptych created by Annick Bouvron-Gromek.
Our new home is larger and much closer to the heartbeat of the town, increasing our visibility and allowing more opportunity for exposing the community to great local art. We are also thrilled to be able to house four new artisans to compliment our exhibiting fine artists and photographers; Karen Desrosiers (multi-media), Nancy Morgan (fabric artist), Nasreen Kolhari (jewelry), and Debra Woodward (photography).
Our theme show Feathers and FurĀ is on exhibit through the end of April. Our Featured Artist, Renee Schneider, has her unique mixed media works on display April through May.
New shows are hung each month, so stop by often during business hours or for our First Friday Art Receptions. Who knows, you may be inspired to take an art class or two.
