January 2022

Winter Sunrise by Dennis Skillman

We are open by appointment only this January – email gallery@seacoastartist.org,

The SAA gallery will reopen with limited hours in February:
Thursday 5:30-8:30, Fri 4-7, & Sat-Sun noon-4.

Doris Rice continues to teach her popular watercolor classes there on Thursday nights, 5:30-8:30, and she welcomes those of you who want to peruse, purchase, or pick up artwork.  This will continue through February.  If you are interested in joining Doris’ class, please email her at dorisrice@comcast.net ahead of time so the class doesn’t overfill. See dorisrice.com for class details. Everyone remains safely masked and distanced.

Important Notice: The SAA Gallery will be closed for the month of January. We have decided that with the current state of COVID, and in anticipation of it possibly getting worse after the holidays, the gallery will take a hiatus for the month. You can of course see and purchase artwork by appointment just by emailing us at gallery@seacoastartist.org. One of our artists will be happy to meet you at the gallery. We will be open regular hours until Christmas. After Christmas, our hours will be 1-4 on Sun 12/26, Wed 12/29 and Thurs 12/30. Theme show artists are welcome to take their work from the “Big Gifts Come in Small Packages” show on December 26, 29, or 30, 1pm-4pm. We will be closed on New Year’s Eve Day. The January Theme Show has been canceled, so next is “Let Me Show You What I Love.” Drop off is Saturday, Jan 29, 10-3. BOW shows for Jan have been rescheduled. Keep checking our Facebook page for updates. Our artists and our community are the most important part of the SAA. We want you all to be safe and healthy in this coming New Year.
