Nubble Falling Sky
Debra Woodward
Oil
$575

Dimensions: 25″ x 20″ framed, flat black frame. Will deliver within an hour’s drive from Exeter.

Notes from the artist: I painted this from a photo I took at Nubble Light the day after a big storm. The large waves appeared to be clouds falling into the sea.

Cellist at the Louvre
Debra Woodward

Notes from the artist: This image has haunted me since I heard the cellist playing beautiful music in the tunnel at the Louvre at nighttime years ago. I took a photo but it was much too dark. Painting it brought back all those feelings.

Annalee Mack
Watercolor
$250

Portsmouth Light
David Turbide
Oil
$225

Dimensions: Approximate outside dimensions of piece including mahogany frame is 15″ high x 18″ wide. Painting alone is 14″ x 11″.

Notes from the artist: I’ve always loved lighthouses and the Portsmouth light is a fine example of the New England lights that have guided ships into ports and away from hazards for centuries. Portsmouth light continues to welcome ships and boaters as they pass historic Fort Constitution at the mouth of the Piscataqua River in New Castle. This painting is one of a series of four that also includes Portland Head Light in Maine, Eastern Point Light (Gloucester MA), and the iconic Nubble Light – all available at the SAA Gallery.

Port Clyde Fishing Shack
David Turbide
Oil
$250

Dimensions:

Painting is 11×14, mahogany frame outside dimensions are 15×18

Notes from the artist: Port Clyde, Maine is a prototypical fishing village and one of the places where you can catch the ferry to Mohegan Island. This shack is a very picturesque representative of the breed, one of thousands along the New England coast. I love the way the cedar shakes weather and the beautiful shades and irregularities that the harsh New England weather creates on the painted and unpainted surfaces.

Spanish Peaks
Christine Blomquist
Wool Fiber Art

Notes from the artist: These majestic mountains were seen in the distance while traveling the back roads between Colorado and New Mexico.
